Surface | 25,000 m² |
Products | Elevate RubberGard EPDM 1.1 mm |
System | Mechanically attached |
The existing roof, made of mineral wool and several layers of bitumen, was fully removed and new PIR insulation panels were mechanically attached. The Elevate RubberGard™ EPDM roofing membrane was also mechanically attached through the insulation panels to the steel deck.
The replacement of the roof allowed for continuous aircraft maintenance activities, one of Air France’s numerous requirements.
The RubberGard EPDM roofing system installation was carried out using 6.10 m wide by 30 m long membranes. These large panels allowed fast installation compared to conventional roofing systems.
